AN IDLE'S PROGRAM OF THE DAY

Yesterday's supposed to be a wonderful OG outing day!!! Argh... Who knows that not many people turn up and as a result, the outing is postponed. Hiks hiks... TT
So sad...

With the primary plan failed, I stick to the 2nd plan which is to study with Kathy and Irene. Seemed like it will be a rather slacking Saturday for me. Played comp and meddled with MP3 cutting software for a while before I left. And goodness, this thing sucks. It can only cut MP3 for 30 seconds worth of play. Anything exceeding that time limit will not be played. Rawr, and to extend the time, I have to purchase the software. -.-''

Upon noticing that it was already 2 p.m, I rushed to take a quick shower and left the house. By the time I reached Dhoby Ghaut to meet up with Kathy, it was already 2 45! So sorry that I was late :P. We proceeded to Cathay then to Star Bucks but who knows that it was so crowded and thus, we moved on to Delifrance. We had lunch there(loved the Strawberry Diabolo! Thanks for the recommendation :) )and then started studying. Did nothing productive though, only managed to copy some of the lecture notes for Maths... Argh...

After a while, Irene finally arrived. She was drenched wet with perspiration. LOL. She must have it tough finding the way here. HAHA... (Woops, not in any position to laugh at her as I am also bad with directions myself). We then continue to study. It must have been the effect of the food as I was feeling quite sleepy. Shucks... After I was done with Maths, I immediately proceed to my GP reading assignment. It was getting no where! Soon, the clock hit 6 30 and Kathy had to leave as she had to go for something with her friend. :(

Irene and I stayed to study (I wonder if it is studying or idling, LOL) longer. After a while, she suggested that we eat dinner here as well. o.0 and so, we ordered our food. This time, I ordered Passion Fruit diabolo as my drink but it didn't taste as nice as the former. Haiz. One hour spent on eating, we continued to do our work.

Time passed by so quickly that the restaurant's almost closing. Irene said she needed the toilet and so she left to relieve herself. Meanwhile, one of the staffs approached me.

"Sorry sir, we are closing soon, can you please settle the payment?"
"Oh, sure... NETS?"
"Oh, no we don't accept NETS. VISA or Mastercard?"

Cold sweat begin to form little rivulets on my forehead. What am I supposed to do now?

"Err... I don't have any of that... Are you sure NETS cannot be accepted here?"
"Is your NETS gold card or?"

I showed her my normal POSB ATM card and indeed, it cannot be used. Now I am dead. Adding on to this afternoon's payment, it costed about $71. However, I only had $55 with me. Adding on to Irene's $10, it would not be enough! I asked the people whether there's any ATM drawing machine nearby and the people pointed to us that there's one but it is quite far. I ran to my destination and at the same time, thinking that what if i failed to find it.

After a while of walk and run, I stoppe and asked the passerby for the ATM machine. They pointed to just in front of me. LOL. How am I so glad!!!
I quickly drew sufficient money to get me out of this shit and ran back to Delifrance. After the payment's settled, I left with Irene, feeling embarassed about it. It was my first time! -.-''

On our way home, we met some people from SA too! Bobby and Vincent. LOL. What a coincidence...

Afterwards, it is home sweet home... Also, dad came to Aunt's place today but he has to leave early the next day to catch his plane for another business trip. Before leaving, he gave me some money... HEHE... I wonder how I should spend it but I think I should spend it wisely...

Alright, that's all for yesterday. As for today, it was just another boring day... I completed my PW! The toughest part was the cutting down on words. Darn it, at first it was 900+ words (rolling eyes) and I managed to cut it to 744!!! (roll my eyes back). HAHA... But I still have Maths revision and Phy revision to do... Not to mention Chemistry revision too. >_<>
