AFTER EVERYTHING, I AM FINALLY A COUNCILOR

After a long hiatus, I am back again! And I am very happy to say that I am finally commended as a full-fledged student councilor! Which means that starting today, I have to live up to a student councilor's expectations! o.0 though no more silly acts (have to present myself well in front of the student body and set a good example), I can still be myself at the SC(our nest!).

I am so glad that I am in Student council. Before coming to SA, the thought of being a councilor was never brought up to my mind. I was not sure what is a councilor at all! Who inspired me? It was none other than my lovely OGL, Huiying!!! I really wanted to thank you so much for being my inspirational OGL. Without you, I may not have the courage to take up the nomination form, as well as taking the initiative to ask you to fill it in as well as asking another friend to help me complete it(thanks Aqilah! :D). Without you, I wouldn't have gone through the tough yet funny interview... ROFL... Trials after trials, including the Selection Camp(which I thought would be the greatest hurdle in my life but it was actually just a walk in my life), and Leadership Training Camp(the worst camp>>>the best camp). I would have never imagined that I would be able to do such crazy thing like waking up at 2 am in order to move tables and chairs and play some tiring games as well as walking to Sentosa, not to mention doing 1000+ pumpings. It seemed impossible but now, I think that its all in the mind. I would also like to thank the 31st Excos for giving me spiritual support during the camps. Though they are fierce, I think its all just a facade. Their bark is worse than their bite.

And lastly, I would like to thank my dear 32nd council whom I loved so much!!! Without all of you here, I think we would not be able to pass through all the trials. It was the support everyone gave and the support everyone received. Thank you so much! I hope that the next one year during our council term will be a fruitful one! Let's bond better than the 31st okay! As they said 32>31, so... U know... HAHA (no offence to 31st councilor).

Finally, after LTC, it was our commendation practice. Going through late night practices made me feel so desperate as I was really behind studies. I was sleepy most of the times. But nevertheless we gave it our all and our reward is our best commendation. I would not say its perfect but it's considered the best one we had in our lives. The proudest moment in my life...

Also, thank you Huiying, for putting on the badge for me though it was taken off again in order to officially let the seniors put on the badge. Thank you Yiying, for putting on the badge for me! :D

And lastly, I have to thank myself for the effort I put in! Muahahaha...
Starting from today, I am only going to put on what I learn for the day or what I find is worth saying, no more laments and stuffs. ( cause I notice that a GP teacher had managed to get my blog address, certain laments may be subjective to them...)

Alright... A blog is meant to be this way, colourful and not stained with erratic colours.

And today, I had the best day of my school life. For once, I paid full attention to lessons, not stealing even a minute of sleep during lessons. Due to my energy bar(council badge)! Woohoo... Hope that I can be like this everyday... God bless. Alright, shall end my post here.

By the way, I also liked that quote Kathy, so I am going to steal it from you :P
(The only way to preserve a relationship is for the wife to be blind and for the husband to be dead).

Kay, see ya... Long post...

Konoha Poem !

A lonely seagull flies the winds
Majestic... soaring...gliding wings
A single screech sounds from the sky
Come fly with me... come here and fly

My spirit floats to be a part
I feel the beating of its heart
My soul, one with this bird of sea
Now knows the meaning to fly free

I feel the winds caress my soul
And soar the streams without a goal
My being trembles of delight
A treasure I received tonight

The seagull's flight of soaring high
The gift of what it means to fly

Sayonara !
