This is my 160th post! Hahaha... What an achievement.
I can finally see the real school life at SAJC now. Especially after reading the speech done by the President of the 31st Student Council yesterday. The theme is "No one's here by Chance". Well, I supposed you can look at it that way. At first, I thought I was there by chance but surely and eventually, we would leave a foot print at SAJC. All of us are unique in our own ways. Somehow, all of us here in SAJC was arranged by something called fate. Yeah it must be, "quoted from Mr Ji".
This morning, when I was just about to leave from my house. Irene sent me a message. What the? On her way to Clementi already? Duh! I ran as quickly as possible. The usual 5-10 minutes walk from my house to the MRT station became a 2 minutes run. Luckily I made it! Actually, every morning of running can perk you up. Then you won't be that sleepy. :)
There was a spot check today and luckily I had rectified my hair! It was the first time in my school life that I cut my hair this short. Damn it! But here's an advice, learn to be smart. Avoid getting caught for the first day. If you were caught during the first spot check, they will look out for you more in the future. So, yeah, gotta be smart.
We had our first Civics lesson today which somehow kind of reminded me of form teacher periods at secondary school. I can't believe I actually volunteered myself as a class rep. o.0
But since I volunteered, I had to do a good job. This may be a chance to learn how to be more responsible.
And today, I got to know more of my CG mates! They are Darren, Thian Shin(sorry if I misspelt your name), Joshua, Collin and some others which I can't remember anymore! Sorry, I am quite bad with names... :(
It seemed like the choice to volunteer myself as a class rep is right! I got to interact more with the rest of my CG mates... Kind of a good idea. So I guess the opportunity cost this time is zero! (applying what I had learnt in Econs lecture) Cool! I am a genius! ROFL
After civics class, we had a short break and it's Chem lecture next! Cool, I forgot most of the O level basic stuffs... o.0 And worse is during PW lecture... Kind of boring... Haiz... And so I fell asleep... Nicholas was damn unlucky can! (I don't know why most people always use this "can" to end their sentence when complaining, can someone tell me why? Anyway, just trying to put it and it kinds of fit!).
The last lecture of the day was Economics and during the lecture, I didn't sleep! Wow. Didn't get some of the ideas during the lecture... Got to revise.
And after that, I guess I can go home, right?
NO, you had to register your thumb print for the biometric system thingy. LOL. This is for students who are late. They cannot mark their attendance manually and have to register their thumb print as an indication that they come to school but are late. o.0
I can't believe people are even queuing up for this thing. So, I went to eat at the cafetaria first, while waiting for the crowd to lessen. I wanted to try the pattaya rice at the Muslim stall but I had to wait for 10 minutes! In the orientation booklet on the topic of "what's delicious", they commented that Saints are willing to queue up for this. LOL. But here I am, getting impatient. Maybe I am not a saint. :( An impatient saint...
I also went to the Popular book store of our school. Kind of small. Bought another set of PE attire. Should I buy the House T-shirt of HOSE instead? Hmm...
Some of my friends cannot go home yet as they had to attend the Geography lecture. Pity them. Even though I can leave, I am staying put. Not for my friend's sake. Haha...
So, I decided to study at the library.
It's my first time visiting SAJC's library and it's quite spacious and well furnitured! It gives you that very comfortable feeling. Hmm.. Maybe next time when I want to catch a nap, I should come here...
I revised Chem and Econs for the next 2 hours and without realising it, it was already 4. o.0
Well, the revision session's not wasted. I got the general picture of the Econs lecture already... Feeling kind of relieved.
On my way home, I met Irene at the MRT station. What a coincidence! It seemed that her Ez link card's not working... HAHA...
We also met Pebrianti, an ex Shuqunite and our senior too. I heard that she got 76 points for her promo exams. o.0 Cool! Got to aim higher than her. I can do it! Consistency is still the key.
Finally, I reached Orchard and passed the Maths text books to Xiaoling. Another task done. I planned to revise Physics at home but now, it seemed that my plan failed. Otherwise, how can I still be blogging now? HAhaa...
